Cornetti
California born designer, Claudia Lucia Aragon, dreamt up Cornetti while living and studying along the Amalfi Coast in Italy. She was inspired to create a line of sandals that evoked the Italian sun-soaked spirit and atmosphere around her. She developed a working relationship with family of artisan shoemakers in the region of Campania who could bring her creations to life. This family-run factory had been passing down their handmade craft of shoe-making for over 100 years; a true lineage of experts in their art, skill, and technique. And so, it began. In 2012, she launched the line under a notion of luck by naming it Cornetti, which translates to “little bull horns”, a symbol that has been defined by the Italian culture as one of luck since ancient times.
